5 Reason why commercial cleaning is better then residential
Good morning everyone!
I know that many of my readers are residential cleaning business owners.
While they are excellent businesses, and their margins are much higher than what we see in commercial cleaning, I still believe that in the long term, if someone wants to build a structured business that allows them to live an interesting lifestyle, commercial cleaning is the best vehicle to achieve that.
I say this humbly, but just to show you the realm of possibilities from my current situation:
We bill just over $500k/month.
I have directors who take care of each region.
I no longer receive any calls from clients or even employees.
The only calls I have are weekly coaching sessions with my directors.
I have someone who handles our finances and presents the numbers to me once a month.
When I go on vacation, I don’t need anyone to replace me. The only thing affected is that the projects I’m working on will take a bit longer to complete.
If I were to pass away, I’m confident the business would continue running smoothly until a replacement is found.
So yes, commercial margins are lower, but the volume is much larger, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the management is much less intensive.
