The best type of contract for a beginner
Go for those type of contract for explosive growth and peace of mind !
Hello Friends!
I hope you’re doing well today.
Today, I want to talk to you about the type of contract you should start with.
This question comes up often, and it’s really important.
Starting with the wrong contract can quickly discourage you and make you think commercial cleaning isn’t for you.
Starting with contracts that are too small means putting in too much effort for too little return.
Starting with contracts that are too big will lead to a lot of "No's" because you’re not ready yet—and potential clients can sense that.
So, what is the right contract to begin with?
I’ve learned this the hard way, so why not share it with you? This way, your learning curve is shorter, and you can make money faster than I did.
Wouldn’t that be fun?
So what is a great contract to start with exactly ? Let’s Dive In !
Easy to quote
Some contracts stay within the same size range, making them easy to estimate once you know the time required. This keeps the error margin small and boosts your confidence during walkthroughs.
Simple task list
Some contracts have extensive task lists (imagine cleaning Google’s offices, how many different tasks do you think there are - Crazy, right ?). Others only have three tasks. The simpler, the better.
High frequency
Look for contracts requiring daily cleaning or at least three days a week. This ensures the contract’s value is worth your effort, and a minor complaint won’t eat up your monthly profit. Plus, they’re easier to sell to if they need regular cleaning.
Favorable context
Aim for contracts with flexible cleaning hours and reasonable cleanliness levels. You don’t want to be overwhelmed by dirt and rigid schedules.
That’s it !!
If a contract checks all four boxes, it’s definitely a great one. Even with two or three, it's probably still worth considering.
But if it doesn’t meet these criteria, think hard before committing—it might look good on paper but have a negative ROI in practice.
In my course, I’ll tell you what EXACT businesses are the best for beginners. Those types of businesses still make up a big part of the contracts we target, even at our current revenue level.
You have until next Tuesday before it’s gone.
